Shane Perlowin "The Vacancy in Every Verse" CD
The Vacancy in Every Verse is the debut solo album of guitarist/composer Shane Perlowin. It is at once a modest offering of songs and a manifesto of musical strategies. It features three tracks of solo nylon acoustic guitar, three tracks of solo electric guitar with electronics, and four tracks of a trio featuring Ryan Oslance (of Ahleuchatistas) on drums and Joseph Burkett (of Mind Vs Target) on upright bass.
All recordings are in real time with no overdubs or editing.Recorded in Asheville, North Carolina in the Fall/Winter of 2008 by Patrick Kukucka at Hi Five Recording. Mixed in the Spring of 2009. Mastered by Ian Weir in Tallahasse, Florida in October 2009. Artwork by Courtney Chappell
